Greg joined the team in 2018 as a rotor wing pilot at our base in Lander WY, and today he flies in Moab UT.
Originally from the California Bay Area, Greg was first inspired to become a helicopter pilot during his six years serving in the Air Force as a C-17 Loadmaster. He used the GI Bill to learn how to fly in Salt Lake City, and has been a pilot ever since.
After working as a flight instructor in Utah, Greg flew tours at the Grand Canyon. His work as a utility pilot took him to Oregon, Pennsylvania, Papua New Guinea, Australia, and Afghanistan, before landing with Classic two years ago.
Greg enjoys the challenge and adventure of flying search and rescue missions in Moab which allows him to think outside the box. He’s always been attracted to the freedom associated with life as a pilot. When he was living in California, he worked as a factory motorcycle rider for Yamaha.
When he’s not at the base, Greg lives with his wife Stacy in Salt Lake City. They enjoy mountain biking, climbing, fishing, and building rock crawlers in their garage to take off-roading in the great outdoors.
