Geoff is a pilot at our Los Alamos base where he’s been flying since 2015. He’s one of the longest tenured members of the base, and has worn many hats including base manager and lead pilot.
Geoff is a proud resident of the Los Alamos community, where he’s called home for the last twenty four years. Before joining Classic, he served as transportation director for the local school district and was elected to sit on the County Council for eight years, including four years as chair.
Geoff’s career in public service goes back to 1983, when he enlisted in the Army and became a helicopter pilot. He flew everywhere from northern Norway to eastern Turkey but took a break from aviation in 1996. Believing that “a career gets in the way of life,” Geoff spent the next eighteen years getting to know the “ins and outs” of Los Alamos. In 2014, he decided it was time to get back in the sky and within a year, he was saving lives with Classic.
When he’s not flying, Geoff enjoys spending time with his wife Marla and their two sons. He’s an avid outdoorsman and just got back from a five-day 200 mile mountain bike ride in northern New Mexico.
