Garrett is a flight nurse, splitting his time between our Pagosa Springs and Cortez bases. Having just joined the team in August, Garrett is one of the newer members of the Classic family, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board!
Garrett’s journey has taken him all the way from his New England roots to the deserts of the southwest. After growing up in Maine, he studied foreign languages at The University of Maine (he’s quadrilingual!) before some soul searching led him to a career as a nurse; a profession he said appealed to the strengths of his personality and was “exactly what I needed when I needed it.” Soon, working as a travel nurse brought him to the southwest, where he and his mountain bike quickly fell in love with the desert and hasn’t left since.
Garrett may be new to Classic, but it didn’t take long for him to come face to face with our family-centric values and atmosphere. During his first day on the job, Garrett’s flight suit had yet to arrive, but one of his colleagues lent him their brand new suit which still had the tags on and fit like a glove. He says the small gesture summed up what Classic is all about and why he joined the company.
When he’s not working, Garrett loves spending his time outside and enjoying his passion for mountain biking.
