Renee joined the team in 2016 and is a flight nurse at our Lander WY base. She’s also a public relations representative for all our operations in Fremont County.
Born and raised in Wyoming, Renee came to nursing after joining her family in the hospitality industry. She got a job at a nursing home while working for her mother’s bar and motel in Lander and went to nursing school on a scholarship from SageWest Hospital.
In her 25 years at SageWest, Renee worked in almost every department at the hospital, rising to emergency room director, before joining Classic and taking her career to the sky. Over her nearly three decades in nursing, Renee says working as a flight nurse is the first time she can give true one-on-one patient care, focusing 100% of her attention on one patient at a time.
Renee says she knew she’d found a home at Classic on her very first day – the same day her daughter went into labor. Her new teammates insisted she pack her bags and go meet her very first grandchild – something she says encapsulates the company’s family values.
When she’s not cooking for her colleagues at the base, Renee lives with her husband Anthony, a detective for the Riverton Police Department. They enjoy spending time with their two children and two grandchildren, are avid hunters, and run an advertising business.
