Nancy is a full-time air medical line pilot at our Page AZ base where she’s been flying since 2016. Nancy comes to us all the way from Geneva, Switzerland where, as a kid, she first dreamed of a life in the sky. She skied a whole lot and eventually had the chance to learn to fly in the Swiss alps, in Sion, Valais. Before achieving her dream she navigated the treacherous world of finance ending as a mergers and acquisitions manager.
After taking a leave of absence to travel the world, Nancy fell in love with her first stop, Alaska, and knew she had to move there. She’s been calling the 49th state home and flying there ever since 2002.
Nancy cherishes the unique desert SouthWest that she gets to call her “second home”. Nothing compares to a sunrise flight back to Page base after a long nightwith the crew relaxing in the back . She picked the camaraderie with the crews and watching them do magic in saving people the highlight of her time at Classic.
When she’s off duty, Nancy commutes to Alaska to her family, her husband Zack and their two sons, Charly 18 and Jake 14. In 2011 they started their own remote access bush plane flying and guiding operation, Sasquatch Alaska Adventure Co, based in beautiful Homer. They love spending time outdoors and exploring new places sometimes by air, and sometimes on their vintage bush plane named Rocket Racoon!
