Brian is a pilot at our Fort Mojave base, which he helped open when he joined the company in 2017. As a public relations representative for the base, he’s become a community staple, organizing local events, liaising with fire crews, and spreading Classic’s story and message out into the world.
Helping those around him is what Brian does best. After starting out as a business major at Utah Valley State College, Brian worked in tech sales before pivoting to a more recession-proof industry: aviation. After working as a flight instructor for a few years, in 2006, he opened up a flight school of his own, where he developed a passion for helping others pursue career paths in the sky. Before long, the school grew from just one location and one helicopter to four locations and twelve helicopters.
Many of Brian’s students would go on to work for Classic. They became good friends of his and introduced him to the company’s record, reputation, and values. With more than enough flight experience under his belt, Brian began working EMS in the midwest, before transitioning full time to air medical.
When he’s not flying, Brian lives in Mapleton, Utah with his wife Tiffany. They just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and have one son and three daughters. A big outdoorsman, Brain calls the outdoors his “happy place” and loves hunting, hiking, and fishing. His crews benefit from his hobbies, and are regularly treated to elk steaks and fresh-caught trout. Just another perk of life on the base!
