Brittney joined the Classic team in 2014 and is currently stationed out of our Pocatello ID base as a flight nurse.
Originally from California, Brittney moved to Salt Lake City UT when she was ten years old. She knew she wanted to be a nurse from a young age and graduated from high school as a medical assistant. From there, she went straight into nursing, receiving her associate degree from Salt Lake City Community College and her bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University. Today, Brittney’s strong commitment to education continues at the University of Phoenix where she is currently in nurse practitioner school.
After a two year stint as a labor and delivery nurse at the University of Utah, Brittney worked at Intermountain Medical Center’s level 1 trauma center for ten years. That’s where she first crossed paths with the Classic team who impressed her with the company’s family atmosphere and the opportunity to achieve her goal of becoming a flight nurse.
Seven years later, and Brittney has flown out of all of Classic’s northern bases. Coincidentally, she spent her entire first year at the company flying only night missions with just two daytime exceptions. She says she’s thankful to her colleagues for their teamwork, camaraderie, and consistent desire to see each other grow and succeed. She particularly loves mentoring new hires and watching them evolve with the company.
When she’s not flying, Brittney lives full time in Riverton UT with her husband Brad and their two sons, Carter and Deegan. She’s proud to call herself a full-time baseball mom. In between shepherding her boys to tournaments and games, the family still finds time to go camping, ice fishing, paddle boarding and hiking.
